I had the fan speed issue on my Tacoma where it would only work at 100% or 0%. This was an easy drop in replacement that's worked flawlessly for a month now. Took 15 minutes to install and the hardest part was finding a 5.5mm socket to unbolt the original resistor.

Easy install, cut a few wires, strip insulation back, then use the included insulated crimp connectors, heat up w/ heat gun or hair dryer to shrink wrap the connections, and you're done. Doesn't get much easier than that. Took me about 10 minutes and I was up and running. I've had it installed for a few months now and it is still working just like the OEM. Would recommend. Thanks.

The Toyota Motor blower is known for shorting out. This product replaces it with a higher quality one that last much longer than others. The fact that this one comes with new wires and connectors is just icing on the cake as they help the new part last much longer than if you had put the item in alone. Fits as advertised.

All four speeds work as intended from factory but my harness and a burnt wire tip so I had to use the harness supplied as well as the resistor chip, works well and easy to install but according to other reviews time will tell.

I saw videos online to fix my blower issue in my 2005 Tacoma that linked to OEM stuff that added up to $60. Then I found this on amazon, the same exact thing for a quarter of the price. I bought it and knock on wood been working fantastically. Super easy direct connection besides the place you have to reach to install it under the passenger side, but great product!

This particular kit is better than the original and other kits found online. TheOEM wires are too small and burn out. The wiring here are bigger.
