I purchased this Roaster for Thanksgiving for my Turkey.It did not disappoint.The rack was helpful to ensure theDroppings from the Turkey was reserved.I also used it for My Christmas Brisket. I experienced even cooking.If the recipe you are using requires aLid or coverage do that.I highly recommend this Roster for its efficiency, easy clean up and value.I’m an experienced home cook/ chef.I prepared two proteins that roasted for several hours.After hand washing It still shined like a Dimond.DC Diva

This was the perfect size pan for our 15 1/2 pound turkey. We followed all the instructions and we could not have been happier as the bird sat exactly on rack in the pan, not too high or low, and cooked very well. There was plenty of room to use stock in the area below the rack and extract fluid using a baster. We were easily able to put it in and out of the oven, the turkey cooked perfectly, and the pan best of all was a delight to clean -nothing stuck, and there were no issues at all removing the liquid drippings and without any scratches or rough areas. We will be using this in the future and for the first use of this pan I have to say it’s just so much worth it for the price.I want to add last year we were given a turkey by my husband‘s company and we didn’t have a roasting pan so we used foil one that we already had and it was rather deep which resulted in turkey undercooked from the deep side of the pan and overcooked on the part that was out of the pan lol. What a difference this purchase has made!

Used for Thanksgiving, 20# turkey. Very sturdy. No concerns. Instructions say dishwasher safe but recommends handwash to keep the shine. The handles retain heat even after being out of oven for several minutes so be sure to use potholders until certain it has cooled.

I purchased this pan specifically for veggie roasting. It's a little larger than a typical roaster so I can double my recipes. Farberware has always offered quality products, so the steel is top notch and the handles are bolted on very securely. The reason I took off 1 star is because I got a minor burn on my hand when it grazed one of the handles -- so you just have to be very careful when working with the pan when it's hot. The handles are not heat-proof and in fact, do hold the heat longer than most other roasting pans I've used. But I'm still glad that I purchased this, it roasts well, has a large capacity, cleans up beautifully, and I can work around the handle issue now that I know about it.

This is a very sturdy pan--heavy steel that stays perfectly flat (no warpring) with what appears to be a high-quality non-stick coating. We really needed a "good sized" pan when roasting not just your average chicken, but also the occasional larger roast or turkey. This is plenty big without being huge. The interior rack is very nice and sturdy, but we are careful not to move it around once inside the pan, because it has plain metal "feet" and might scratch the coating over time. As others have said, the handles are bit small for handling with oven mitts, etc., to for us they're more for show than for use. The lip on the pan is plenty big and sturdy enough to use for carrying the pan, anyway. Recommended!

I hated having to spend the money, but I needed a new roasting pan because the last one got rusty (AKA - was cheaply made). This pan is so easy to clean because it is truly non-stick. I was skeptical, but I have not had any trouble removing b-b-q sauce; it wiped right off. LOVE this pan and I highly recommend it.

My other roasting pan had to be replaced, as I've had it for some 25 years and was really showing its wear and tear with rust and dents. So I ordered THIS FABULOUS Stainless Steel Roasting Pan. It's built to last and oh so easy to clean! AND it comes with a Stainless Steel Rack that fits nicely inside the pan, which I can use for cooking bacon in the oven, as well as roasting a turkey!Excellent manufacturing, this should last me an even longer time! I'm very happy with this purchase.

De muy buen material, sabiéndolo cuidar creo que puede durar por bastantes años. Me parece excelente la parrilla que se puede quitar y poner porque asà tengo la opción de hacer una comida jugosa o caldosa o preparar un filete o algo más seco
