Our old salt and pepper shakers had screw on caps. My kids didn't like how the salt or pepper that settled in the grooves would fall out when the tops were opened to spoon out when cooking or baking. So I bought these and they are happy. Little plastic plugs on bottom to refill shakers. Too small to use to scoop with measuring spoons so the kids have to scoop out of the larger refill containers. These shakers shake out a normal amount. Not too much. Not too little. Easy to keep clean. They look nice sitting on range. Good purchase.

The salt shaker’s holes are way too big and pours out a ton of salt. I returned the item.

I was looking for a simple S&P set that I can use with a variety of tablescapes. These fit the bill perfectly. And they arrived with a surprise collapsible silicone funnel. An unexpected bonus that I find very useful.Highly recommend.
