Much cheaper and more effective than elegoo heater I was using in my Saturn 4. Fits perfectly without interfering with the tilting vat.

Transform your 3D printing experience with this versatile fermentation belt. Initially designed for warming, it seamlessly integrates with the ITC controller to deliver consistent and reliable results. Its exceptional performance has resolved my previous printing challenges, proving that quality doesn't always come at a high price. This affordable solution is all you need for perfect prints, every time.

Works pretty well for my carboys. When looking for a heater for a fermentor I was looking for one that would work best for the variety of fermentors that I have (Buckets, Big Mouth Bubbler 6.5 gal, and Speidel 30L). Being that my fermentors vary in size and shape, I thought the belt would work better than the wrap around heaters. Since I didn't go with the wrap around option I can't really compare the two, but am pleased with how the belt has worked out for me so far.Only complaint would be that the one I received does not work/look like the one pictured. Mine is a little more turquoise in color and has a plastic flip switch clamp lock on it which required you to overlap the belt through the clamp in order to adjust the size. This works fine, but I'm a little concerned about hot spots as well as belt wearing where the belt overlaps. Once the belt heats up, it tends to slack as well so I probably wouldn't recommend this on a standard bucket unless you add additional securing to prevent the belt from slipping once it starts to slack. I've only used it on my Big Mouth Bubbler (6.5 gal) and my 30L Speidel, both of which have ribs on them so I can tighten the belt just above a rib line without worrying of it slacking enough to slip off.I use this along with an Inkbird Itc-310T temperature controller and have had good results thus far. I would recommend applying the belt when your liquid is fairly close to the temperature range you want as the belt works best for maintaining temperatures much more so than overall heating. My first time use took approximately 10hrs to raise my temp 4 degrees from 70 up to 74 in my basement with an ambient temp of about 66 degrees. Once the temperature range on my controller was met however, it worked very well at keeping it within the set range. The only down side I have with the belt is that there is wasted/lost heating from the end of the belt to the fermentor past the point of the clamp. Unless your fermentor has straps you can slip the belt through to keep it into contact, the end of the belt just kind of hangs in the air

Used this during cold crashing and it prevented the beer from freezing (I use a cooler). Works well with an Inkbird.

Have used this for various fermentation projects and I can confirm it works as should

I now own three of these heaters. They help me make beer and wine during the months when the air temperature is too low up enable yeast to finish their job. Yeast go dormant before they eat the last bit of sugar in the brew. Then, after bottling, they resume eating after weather gets warmer. And, bang, the wine bottles blow their corks or the beer is too fizzy. I have another heating belt from a different manufacturer, with a rheostat to regulate levels of heat. But it doesn’t work right. This simpler on/off control is better. Just unplug it when the brew seems too warm, and then replug later when fermentation slows too much. When it is on and you see no evidence of fermentation, you know you can bottle safely.

I was using a regular heater for a long time until I came up on those. They have been lasting me months with no issues at all. They fit great around the Saturn3 VAT, holds nicely at 95F for months.I was tired of buying the small space heaters every 3 weeks, this has been lasting me months already, highly recommend, just pair it with a thermostat to keep the temp exactly how you want at all times

So I got this Brew Fermentation Heating Belt a few days ago. I bought it to keep the resin vat, which is made of plastic, on my 3D printer warm. Resin printers like it to be warm, as the resin flows more easily. This belt was the perfect size to go around the vat, and it's advertised heating power was exactly what I needed. And it did work in that role, for about 2 days. The temps were a little high, but considering it doesn't have a thermostat built in, I could accept that it was running a little bit hot. It's advertised as being 10-15 degrees warmer than the ambient temperature, which would have been perfect.2 days into using it my circuit breaker clicked off. This was especially annoying , as I was in the middle of a print, and it's nearly impossible to resume a print if it ends up being paused. So I was out time and materials on that one. I had seen a review here that stated a customer had the same thing happen to them, but I know that there is always a dud in any group of electrical components. Well make that more than one dud. I reset the circuit breaker, but now the belt doesn't heat up at all. It's done. Now, I could accept all of this as just the luck of the draw, if it weren't for one of the more bizarre return policies I've seen a merchant on Amazon have. NO RETURNS, apparently for any reason. Nothing. They sold you a completely non-working item, or one that stopped working within less than a week? Too bad.I'll be following this review up with Amazon CS, and a message to the seller. It's ridiculous to have a policy that says you don't stand behind anything you sell AT ALL. Even a 14 day return period is standard, if not the Amazon 30 day policy.Update: The seller refunded me. Apparently, according to them, Amazon lists it as no refunds, but that listing is wrong.

I bought this for use with my resin printer to maintain the temperature of the resin at around 22-23 Celsius, which this belt definitely does. The instructions and warnings are detailed, especially about not plugging it in for longer than 7 days. Even then, the operation is simple, just plug it in and it turns on.

They fail to mention on this page that it is unsafe to use with metal objects (i.e. could start fire or electrocute). The do mention it in their instructions once you buy it but then its too late as you cannot return it.I reached out to seller and got a refund.
