I bought this to wear in the 4th of July parade as I'm a docent with a historical park in my area. I have to say that it was much better quality than I expected and I received a bunch of compliments on it. I followed other reviews and sized up 2 sizes, but I think I would have been fine if I only went up 1 size. I'm 5'5" and usually a large or size 12 and bought a XXL. The shirt was a little baggy, but honestly, ended up being fine and very comfortable. It did make me look a little bigger, but that wasn't important to me. I washed it before wearing and did gentle cycle and hanged to dry. The top was decently made and after trimming off a few stray threads looked really nice. The skirt was long and the waist band stretchy and easy to wear. The belt was okay, but I wish the velcro fastener was longer so I could really cinch it. After a mile of walking in the costume the skirt hem did fray a tad, but nothing noticible or destructive. If you're looking for a quick costume for turn of the century, this is a great buy.

I don't think I out on more weight, do when I ordered after looking at reviews and others sizes, I found the fit to be small. I suggest ordering a size up perhaps! However, otherwise, this is really good quality. It was sewn well and looked like it could actually have been worn back in the day. The buttons seemed delicately sewn on, but that is never a huge problem if you need to put them back on it reinforce them. The color was gorgeous, the green was so emerald, I really liked that!I had to return this costume as it just wouldn't fit, no matter how much I tucked and sucked, and propped up! They were very kind about the return and quick to refund, I appreciated that very much.

I ordered this outfit for a parade. We were suffragettes, so it was a perfect outfit for that era. The outfit was delivered promptly, arrived in good condition. It was a good fit; I'm short and a bit chunky, but it still was complimentary. I like the fabric; it was decently constructed (didn't feel like it would fall apart on me) I have not washed it yet, so I can't comment how well it holds up after washing. Still, I would highly recommend this if this is the look you are going for.

I'm very pleased with this! I usually wear a size 6 and ordered a medium and the shirt is TIGHT. This is for a suffragist costume for Halloween (I'm a high school history teacher) and I have a Votes for Women sash that I"ll be wearing across the front. If I didn't have that, I think I'd return it because the sash covers the buttons that I think might be stretched when I move. Other than the tightness of the shirt, I think it's a really high quality costume at a fantastic price.

Beautiful, well made pink fabric. Arrived on time and with very few wrinkles. The pearl button detachable sash belt completes the whole Victorian look. It’s lined and wears perfectly.

I ordered this for a Dickens show, and it was too large for me, so I gave it to a friend who is over six feet tall. It fit her without any alterations. The fabric is easy to iron. If you need a Victorian era outfit, this is reasonably priced.

This last minute custume was a big hit at Comic Con! Though perhaps not historically accurate, it was still a great way to honor the achievements of the women that came before while also being able to breathe. 10/10.

Pretty skirt but it was sewn wrong/twisted in the waist band. Would have tried again, but event was already over.

The dress fit , but the shirt did not. You should have size choices for the top. Some women are two different sizes in tops and bottoms. Because of this I could not wear the outfit for the event I was attending. Very disappointed
