- Instruction for the calligraphy pen set:
- How to use the feather dip pen:
- 1.Please remove the nib from the quill pen already installed by gently.
- 2.Use a soft toothbrush and dip with some water to moisten the feather dip pen.
- 3.Squeeze a little toothpaste/dish detergent onto the brush.
- 4.Scrubbing on the nib with toothbrush for about 30's.
- 5.Once finished scrubbing,put the nib into water for a few seconds to get the toothpaste/dish detergent off.
- 6.Get the nib out of the water and wipe it dry with a cloth or paper towel.
- 7.Reinstalling the nib on the pen,then put it into the ink about halfway through,and enjoy magnificent writing with your new calligraphy pen.
- 8.After use,please wipe the nib to be clean,so it will works great in the next time.

This is a gift, so I didn't use it, but I can say that it is boxed beautifully and it is a lovely set! I can feel real good to present it as a gift. It looks like a quality item! Lovely.

The ink isn't vary thick, it blots and. Smears a lot. However it functions well.

My mother in law loved this along with a journal. She loves to write so it was perfect. All items were in tact and two different inks is a plus. Beautiful feather!

I had the idea of learning calligraphy, and it'll be worth it if I ever get the hang of it, but it is definitely not the pen so much as it is the writer. Still working my way through the work book I got to go with this pen. In retrospect, I probably should have gotten the calligraphy fountain pen and avoided the messy loose ink, but the feather "quill" is a nice touch. I may or may not ever be any good at it, but nothing ventured, nothing gained, right?

Smooth writing and decent ink. Very good buy. Wish I would've gotten the set with the wax sealer. Will post a video review at some point when I have time with my newborn asleep.
