I was looking for was a swimming cap that would provide some protection from cold water, minimize water turbulence noise in ears, provide good visibility/safety in open water swims. All these requirements are met by this swimming cap. It is easy to put on, stretchable, not moving during swims, comfortable. It is a bit large as one can see on the main photo on this page, but with some adjustments the fit can be satisfactory. This cap is made of fabric so it is not waterproof. Waterproof caps, silicon, rubber etc, are not so easy to put on and most seem to have very tight, uncomfortable fit, IMHO.

I'm very happy with this swim cap. I used to own one made of silicone. It would sit super tight, give me a low-key headache and I'd tear half of my hair out when removing it. This one has just the right amount of tightness. It feels more like a beanie, that is to say you don't notice it much while wearing it. It doesn't keep your ears dry if that's what you're looking for but I'm fine with that as I usually wear ear plugs when I swim. I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Way too small. Nice material but since it is not silicone it gets wet and my son did not like it for swim.

Love the fabric and fit. But the main purpose of wearing a cap is to protect my hair from the chlorine. Not sure how this can happen if my hair is wet. Not sure the purpose of this cap.

So much more comfortable than a silicone or latex swim cap.Only drawback is pool water can reach your hair. The workaround of wetting my hair in shower and lathering on conditioner before swimming has greatly helped protect my dyed hair.
