The swimming cap is made from a very nice water proof elastic material which fits very snug, but not too tight, on my head. Nice, light and comfortable. The cap is easy to put on, and protects your hair from getting wet. I highly recommend this swimming cap.

I was extremely surprised to see how thin the material was - literally looks and feels very similar to paper. However, I judged too prematurely and when it comes to doing the job, I have to admit it's fine. However, will it last long? I have no idea. But until it rips, I can count on it to keep my hair dry and cover all my hair, and that's all I can ask for at this price point! Satisfied.

This fits my large head snugly. It comes down over the ears, but I find that it feels too snug and feels uncomfortable with the tightness of the cap and the tightness of the goggle strap in the back of the head. It feels more comfortable with the ears uncovered. It does help keep the water out of the hair. The hair will still get wet, but it isn't soaked with water. I haven't found a swimcap that keeps the hair dry.. I don't think there is such a thing. Swimmers know how the water is....it goes where it wants to. It's in control. This is a thin lightweight silicone. It's seems sturdy.

The cap is really thin and feels like a layer of balloon on your head. It's somewhat difficult to put the cap on after use because the cap sticks to itself, so you have to untangle the cap. But it's probably one of the cheapest cap you can find on Amazon, so you get what you paid for.

My boyfriend is a triathlete, swims daily, and swears by Tyr swim products, so that’s what I’ve bought—My cap is nice and snug, durable, comfortable. I don’t think that there’s any cap that will keep your hair dry. I swim 1 mile every day in a saltwater pool. The trick to protect your hair from the effects of pool water is to totally saturate it in that poolside shower before you put your cap on—if your hair is already wet, it won’t absorb the pool water. My boyfriend smells my hair after I swim and says, it smells lovely, like your shampoo!

as soon as I took it out of the package I knew this was considerably poorer quality than the last TYR long-hair hat I had bought. It was flimsy and quite small and didn't look like it was designed for long hair. I took it to the pool anyway and as soon as I put it on (the proper way), it split. I just spent my lunchtime in the post-office filling out the forms for its return. Very disappointing.PS Amazon seems to think that Ireland (where this review originates) is in the United Kingdom. It's not.
