I use a lot of flap discs so I figured I'd give these Amazon specials a try. I was pleasantly surprised in almost every way. This is one of the rare cases where you get more than you pay for. At $.99 each they are an absolute no brainer, really a tremendous value.Pros:The arbor hole is correctly sized and fits snug to center the disc. (It's a travesty that this even has to be a positive point but I've used too many discs that had a sloppy arbor interface and getting them centered so they didn't vibrate was a real pita.)They cut really well both on the bottom and on the edge. They don't get varnished over very easily (even sanding hot metal). They last long. This is mostly because the fabric that the sanding media is glued to rips away over time as it wears down exposing the fresh sandpaper underneath. This is a problem I've had with more expensive discs [Norton, Dewalt]. They are almost overbuilt to the point that the abrasive media wears out but the fabric doesn't tear away to expose the fresh abrasive underneath. It just gets a sort of varnish layer on it and then stops working effectively.Cons:The aren't individually labeled so you have to do your own due diligence to keep track of what grit they are. I keep each grit in it's own Rubbermaid and use a paint pen and mark the grit on them when I pull them out of the package.

These hold up just as good the big box store ones if not better. I feel they don't clog as easy too an I grind fiberglass. Well worth the money. Don't go buying from the hardware store ever again

At less than $1 each, this is a very economical way to sand/grind my boat. In a retail store, these sell for $5-6 each. You’re gonna use a bunch of them, and they won’t go bad if you don’t use them right away, so you can’t go wrong for this price. The quality seems to be exactly the same as the ones from the store. I had zero issues with any of them. Great purchase!

These worked fairly well, but if using to remove metal, they did fad.
