Made a new pickguard for a Fender Mustang project guitar. Material is easy to cut, file and sand. Double protective plastic sheeting does a great job of protecting it while working on it. Will purchase again if need arises.

This is perfect for cutting a new guitar pickguard. It’s good quality plastic. I used a dremel to cut the new pickguard.

While the quality of this blank pickguard material is very good, whoever markets it needs to revise their writeup. Note: (and this is important) as stated, the material is 12" x 17". However, the actual measurements are 11 1/2" x 17". (Actually a few millimeters shy of 17"). While a 1/2" may not seem significant, it caused me to re-evaluate and layout of the custom pickguard I am creating to use on a custom Tele build. Rather frustrating as the deciding factor of this purchase was the advertised size over other available sheets.

I originally gave this a 3 star rating, but after having the pickguard cut out at a machine shop to fit my guitar, it has served me so well over the course of time. The red color is as bright and full as I hoped it would be, and shaping the pickguard was a breeze. I couldn't find a sheet like this anywhere else online without paying $50 for shipping. Thank you so much, I might buy again soon!!!

My son with autism was making guitar picks, found this, liked the design only to find out later that it's a pick GUARD sheet. Now, he uses it as his desk for making guitar picks but we're disappointed.

Looks great and replaces my Ibanez RG pickguard well. Be very cautious if you want to get two pickguard out of it though. You only have a few millimetres between them if angled well!

Gia' acquistato in passato, per fare il battipenna per un Fender Precision.In soldoni: il materiale e' buono, si riesce anche a fresare (ad es. la rifinitura del contorno oppure lo smusso a 45°) con le dovute cautele (velocita' non troppo elevata per non scaldare troppo con la fresa).Il problema e' il COLORE!Nel mio caso col grigio perla, in foto appare un grigio caldo e vibrante, quando poi in realta' il prodotto appare un po' piu' freddo, un po' piu' bluastro come sfumatura.
