Our use for these is the replacement of those cheap, annoying little "points" that are provided on most framing kits. This makes it easier and more secure if you need to re-do the frame later. If you start doing this, get a small tool, also made by Fletcher, called a Push Mate. Makes it easy to install them (and to line up the glazier point with the grooves made by the previous points). Minor annoyance: in the pack, two points will often become, er, very friendly: so perfectly joined as to be improbable. Have tried several de-coupling methods, none especially effective. Cursing at the little devils seems as good as any.

The product works good and was easy to install. Only minor thing was they were fairly small

Although I occasionally find one that is miscut from the stamping process, these are usually sturdy and easy to use. I wish I could find them in a larger size.
