I applied it to my screen door,it worked. After 5 days the adhesive tape started to off!! Disconnected the tape and peeled off opening a gap in the doors.

I live in an apartment, so nailing in anything isn’t performed unless absolutely necessary. As of such, bought a couple Displates to hang up. One of the magnet with them didn’t come, so I bought this in the thought it will hold up if I tape it on the corners. Nobe, magnet can hold themselves, but even by taping the entire backside, the magnet can’t support a sheet metal poster(within seconds of releasing pressure, you can hear the magnet slipping scratching across the poster, falling down in less than mine. Honestly I think the tape on the back is way stronger than the magnet itself. Maybe versatile in some very niche circumstance, but definitely don’t expect it to hold any real weight.

I bought this to attach a spanner to my table saw to have it nearby for blade changes. The spanner weighs 137g and a strip that covers the full length of the spanner cannot even keep it in place. Two tiny rare earth magnets can do it. Wasted my money on this magnetic strip.
