I usually buy einkorn whole grain flour in bulk so if a recipe calls for all purpose flour instead of whole grain, it requires laborious sifting. This sifter works really well for the task with enough size to make the project much faster. With an 80 grid mesh, it is much finer than most of those available and gets out all of the bran. The sieve is easy to clean and seems to be very sturdily made. It is also great for sifting fine powdered sugar and cocoa for dusting.

i read another review that this worked well on flour. it does. the quality is good out of 4 cups of home ground flour, it pulls about a cup of bran out leaving nice flour and the germ behind. good choice for me.

It's a very fine sieve. I use it to sift flour primarily and filter cooking oil, etc. Good sieve.

The mesh size is #60, not #80.I already have 60 and wanted 80 to catch smaller particles, but it fail.

When it received the package it was crushed on one side. I was able to bend it back somewhat. Not worth the effort to return.

Sieve is actually #60 mesh, not #80 per the description. Otherwise, the sieve is nice. Sides and screen are both nonmagnetic stainless steel. Build quality is similar to other sieves in this price range.

This was supposed to be a new product, but it wasn't. I noticed a light brown stain in the center of the screen after washing it, but decided to try it anyway. I used it once to sift flour, and then noticed a residue of brownish flour on the bottom of the screen. Clearly someone had used it to sift a dark substance, then returned it. I had to throw out the flour I sifted. Now the screen is clear, but I'm returning it anyway.
