This helped me with my baking so I can use a LIGHTWEIGHT sifter without the need to rotate a handle. I appreciate this option, lightweight, plastic, easy to use.

I'm trying to sift the little flour beetles out of about fifty lbs of flour. They slip right through this mesh. It's very quiet and otherwise sifts well so I'll keep it.

I make a loaf of bread 5 days a week. I buy bread flour in 50 lb (23 kg) bags. I sift about a third of that at a time into a large plastic container. I've been using a https://www.amazon.com/Norpro-Stainless-Rotary-Sifter-Agitator/dp/B000HJ99UG/ref=mp_s_a_1_5 to do this sifting. This is *so* much better. It's fast, it doesn't "spray" flour upwards as it sifts and it "just works". You grab it with your left hand, set it up over where you want the sifted flour to go, turn it on, and shovel the flour into the sifter with a scoop. Presto. We'll see how it works over the long haul, but, for now, I love it.

So, this “electric sifter†runs on batteries, and is supposed to sift your flour in record time. it is a waste of time and money. Basically you put a couple of batteries into the handle and turn it on and it vibrates. That’s it. It vibrates and is supposed to sift your flour. It is incredibly slow and doesn’t do a great job. It is virtually useless for any kind of nut flour. I will stick with the manual ones.

Years of tapping a sieve gave way to tech. Push button power.

This sifter works wonderfully until it doesn't. I bought it back in March 2024 and by October 2024, it stopped working (yes, even with new batteries). It worked beautifully with powdered sugar, cocoa, and flour but not very well with pre-made cake mixes (box mixes). Cleaning wasn't too difficult once you get the bottom screen off but the powder always manages to get in the under lip section so you have to spray that part clean in the sink too. Don't submerge it at all or get the battery/motor section wet at all though. It takes 2 AA batteries. The grip is smooth but works well. I would've given this 5 stars if it hadn't broken in barely 7 months.
