3 of the 6 order do not work. Attempted to repair light pole with items. Looks and fits good however does not operate as described. Waste of money. Did not need to use item until after return date had passed so I have six pieces of trash to dispose of.

The first one worked for me. I’ll test the other 5 soon.To avoid flickering when the sun goes behind the clouds and during dusk, pretty much every photo cell these days has a 1-3 minute delay. So, after you install, you have to cover the photocell for 1-3 minutes to test it. That’s probably why people report them as broken; they only cover the photo cell for 15-30 seconds. That’s not enough. Do it for 10 minutes before you decide it’s broken.They are brand new and are just standard photo cells but at a great price. No reason that they won’t work.

6 came in the box and "IF" they would have worked it would have been a great value for the money. However after trying 3 of them, neither of them function. I bought one at Lowes for $14 and it worked once it was installed. I notice that the Lowes photocell covered the whole 1/2" diameter and was heavier & sturdy. The Amazon product photocell looked like about 3/16" small pimple in the left bottom corner of the eye. Comparing the two, you see why the 6 are almost as cheap as one box store brand. I do not recommend.

Photocells only last a few years in harsh weather conditions. After pricing the latest units at a local store, I was surprised the see a multi-6 pack available. Amazon had Six for the price of two bought locally.
