TIPS

- An extra hitch tightener (purchased by yourself) can help you secure the connection between the flagpole holder and the hitch receiver on your vehicle.

Yes this is a great useful holder for a flag or any pole or what I use it for a mast holder for a 40 foot antenna. Emergency services remote communication networks demand or need deployment and a high antenna systems are a big plus. This low key and low cost and easy use hinge provides not only a solid base for my mast it provides a tilt over to prepare my antenna at waist height. What was confusing is the picture here on Amazon shows it tilting in the vehicle. I just took it apart and reversed engineered a simple turning the tube around and WOW it worked! Don’t be confused? It tilts out just fine! It’s sturdy and strong. Every emergency communication services should have this so easy! Com centers wake up!

Great flag holder for the price. We needed flags for our 4th of July parade and this hitch holder was perfect. I would not leave it on all year but if you’re looking for a few special events then this is the hitch holder for you.

Craftsmanship and sleeve fitting were great. Only thing I didn't like about the whole thing I mean literally, the only thing I didn't like was it didn't come with a sleeve to help take up some of the excess room where the mast would fit into the holder. I use mine to put my antenna mast up for when I am doing parks on the air. Although, it didn't say that it came with anything so the expectation should not be that it was going to be there. Like I said, I really do like the product

Got this for my bf and he loved it. He used it for the back of our Polaris side by side. He did have to go buy an extender for the hitch to use it but otherwise was perfect.

I've had this for a year and a half, and I have yet to find a flagpole that fits this flagpole mount. They're all 1 inch, and rattle around like crazy in this thing. The only 1.5" flagpoles I can find are all 20+ feet high, which is absurd to drive around with.

This thing has a lot of slop in it. Most of the holes are a bit big, so lots of movement in your pole. The tongue that fits into the hitch on the truck is thin metal. When your driving with your flag pole the pole is swaying side to side big time, so I had to go to harbor freight and pick up a clamp they sell, so it the bracket dont move. I also had to buy bolts to use in all the mounting holes for the pole and squeeze the slop out of everything.

Used this to put up a military mast for an offroad rally, solid construction, would highly recommend getting an anti vibration tool to prevent flex or movement though.
