I'm not sure why Amazon says this does not fit my 2005 Ford Powerstroke Super Duty but this sensor is for both the coolant and oil temperature sensors for the 2003-2007 6.0 Powerstroke and the 08-10 6.4 Powerstroke Diesels. If you are having issues with either of your sensors on these motors this is the replacement sensor you want. Also if you need the 2 wire pigtails (if your wire harness pigtails were damaged) then put in "AP0056" and that should give you the wire pigtail from Alliant Power. Hope this helps everyone out.

Genuine Motorcraft. Oil cooler finally ruptured after almost 200k reliable miles on our 6.0. Replaced all sensors with Motorcraft ones during the repair to be proactive. Came in Motorcraft box and working great.

Original was a BRASS probe… this is an aluminum one! It broke off in engine block… MAKE SURE YOU BUY A BRASS ONE… I find it hard to believe this is a FORD part. I suspect garbage from China
