I am really pleased with this purchase. These feel great in the hand, they are metal not plastic, the knurling at the tip is just right to get a grip, and they have a good weight to them. and they are very well designed compared to previous mechanical pencils I have had. For instance, there is a little extension at the tip that comes out to support the lead tip to keep it from breaking, and then retracts as the lead wears down. Very well thought-out.It is also a great value: 3 pencils, a tube of 9 of the little pencil tip erasers (in addition to the 3 in the pencils, and 480 pieces of pencil lead (8 containers of 60pcs each), and a very serviceable little case to keep everything organized in your desk drawer or backpack.All that for less than $15. Very pleased.

the set is great for the price, i like how it comes in a box case which does make it easier to carry around. the pencil itself feels sturdy and the eraser erases very well. i also like how i don't have to worry about refills as it comes with eight lead refill capsules. writing is comfortable, the grip is stable and the thickness is good. I am definitely taking with me to class next semester.

This is a very well organized kit that comes in a hard plastic storage box. Lots of lead supplied with this kit.

I got this set because I liked the stylish look of the mechanical pencils online and everything that came with it in the kit. I figured it would last a really long time.However, when I started writing with the pencils, I discovered that the lead wasn't thick enough, and I tend to break it whenever I was writing. Note: not the manufacturer's fault at all. I figured writing lightly would do the trick, but then the words were too light. I concluded that these mechanical pencils are ideal for drawing, which I love to do, but I needed them mostly for writing book outlines.Another aspect that I noticed is that the metal piece at the writing end, where the lead pops out, unscrewed quite easily and often. I found myself tightening it back up several times during use for each mechanical pencil. Also, the mechanical pencils themselves tended to hurt my finger because there is no cushion around them.A few great things? Well, there are a lot of lead pieces. The erasers cleaned the writing up well. I liked the plastic container for storage as well.Despite all that I mentioned before, I still like these mechanical pencils very much. I plan on buying another set from this company, but I'm hoping to find something close to the way these look but with a cushion around it and with the same kit offerings. I'll get the lead measuring at .7 or .9 mm instead too.So, four stars because the pencils had the tendency to unscrew, and they're uncomfortable to hold. Everything else was good.

I like a small but heavy pencil. These are a perfect fit to my liking. Great grip and weight. I will definitely buy again! In fact, I did buy another set from Four Candies, based on this purchase, and I will be gifting them. Great look and amazing functionality, but I miss the knurled grip. This set will be my future go-to pencil.

I’m impressed with the quality of these pencil set. A complete set with enough refills to use for so long. Happy to choose the 0.9mm size.

The all metal body and parts puts these mechanical pencils in a different class from the cheap plastic ones.These mechanical pencils are a little heavier than the usual ones but provide an easy grip and are simple to refill when empty.Great for arts, drawing, physical drafting, precision printing and if you just want a finer regular width pencil print.The case comes with plenty extra leads and some of the finest erasers I've come across in a while. The refills for the back of the pencil fit well. The block erasers are excellent for removing the graphite lead writing from your paper and neither smear or damage the paper.I'm genuinely impressed with the quality of these heavier duty ones. Mechanical functions are very good and the pencil is sturdy enough to bounce around in your bag or pocket. I have purchased multiple sets of these as my son also wanted some for school.They offer a great value and should work well for years of writing.

looks and feels like a great set, has actual weight to it, and should last much much longer than the plastic crap peddled by other places. I like the fact that the clip is replaceable , and not welded like it usually is, as its a common point of failure.I don't think the built in eraser is all that good though, those usually just result in scratching the desk/page. The included full size erasers look ok, but I have some steadtler brand erasers to use before I will use the included ones, but they seem to be good quality. Lots of replacement leads, so not a problem, and fit my existing 0.7mm supply well.
