One of the better mechanical pencils I've used. Comfortable in my hand and basically self sharpening. Not too heavy, not too light. Ingenious little system that it uses. Easy to load and looks nice. The cons...the eraser is tiny. You might as well keep a rear eraser handy, because the eraser that's on it goes fast. They give you plenty of new leads with the pack in a small case, but the extra erasers that are included as not contained in a case and are super small so you can lose them easily. The cost...it shouldn't be as expensive as it is.

This pencil is a solid choice if you're looking for something of quality while not trying to break the bank. The kuru toga mechanics are intuitive to maintain a uniform writing thickness. But be weary, my only gripe is the eraser cap is a little loose and prone to coming off after some use and wear. I am unsure if that's normal behavior but I ordered a 2nd one and have been satisfied so far.

This is probably the best mechanical pencil on the market. I gave 4 stars because the eraser detracts from the whole item, the pencil deserves 5 by itself. It’s got a good weight in my hand, perfect length makes it comfortable to use with my long fingers. The auto-advancing feature for the lead is brilliant, every time the pencil is lifted from the paper, just enough lead is advanced and if it’s not long enough there’s still manual capability. The lead itself is in middle range for hardness and doesn’t snap easily if there’s too much pressure while writing.Now about the eraser. It’s waaay too soft and skinny. The erasers on regular pencils are firmer and bigger than this one. I’ve tossed the extra ones and use a regular big pink eraser.

Easily one of the best pencils i have ever used. I have never found a better feeling pencil. I love the cool metal on it, probably actually my favorite part. Its a little on the expensive side for someone who used to just use like BIC pencils, but honestly it is so worth it. It makes my handwriting so good too!

I needed a mechanical pencil, and bought this Uni-Ball Kuru Toga Elite. It looks pleasing, is all metal, it has a good weight to it, and feeds the 0.5mm lead out smoothly, without any issues, so far. This kit comes with the pencil, 60 HB #2 pencil lead refills, and 5 erasers. If you use your pencil every day, you will get a lot of use out of this, before you have to buy more supplies for it. Well worth the cost!

The kuru toga is favorite mechanical pencil. The fact that the lead turns while you write makes writing fine things much easier. The pencil is also exceptionally durable as I have used the same one for the last 3 years. I recently decided to buy my brother one for his birthday and he loves it!

Soy estudiante (de ingenierÃa) y a partir de esta compra están los que se van a tomar en serio la carrera. Es un producto élite, se siente muy bien en la mano, la punta, perfecta para las operaciones y para cuidar la limpieza y calidad de tu trabajo. A algunos les podrá parecer excesivo el precio pero realmente vale la pena y yo lo volverÃa a comprar. En 1 semestre que lo llevo usando no le encontrado un detalle negativo. Es muy práctica, resistente. Al principio te podrÃa costar cambiar la puntilla/mina pero una vez le entiendes, ya no es complicado.

For items that I use every day, I love to go a little bit the extra mile and spend more money in hopes of a better experience. This pencil is an extra reason for me to keep doing so. What an extra layer of pleasure it brings to such a simple yet common task. It’s a sturdy and strong pencil, with a nice cold touch to its what seems to be metal body. today's mechanical pen technology really come far from the old one where the lead breaks everytime, this pencil has a built in suspension that really works thus mitigating the excess pressure you're applying when writing.
