I bought this spring to replace one that was damaged on my Sportster 48 while I had my bike on a jack. The kickstand was hanging down and not staying in place. The installation for this new spring was fast and easy. The kickstand has stayed where it should and it seems to be sturdy. Great value for the price.

Kick stand would not stay up all the way up with new spring on.I just shortened the old one a bit and it worked perfectly.Could have saved a few bucks.

Exact fit and replacement for my 2007 Harley Nightster/Sportster 1200. Install made easy since I have a bike jack/stand. Snap onto frame first and with the kickstand still loose, pull and install onto the kickstand second then tighten everything. Doing it that way should make this extremely simple.

I used this on a kickstand & it was a bit too small. I probably should have looked a little harder at it. But it isn't the springs fault. It's a durable spring & it's tough. I didn't realize my kickstand needed a spring with the hooks both facing the same direction. But it's a good value & will perform well when mounted to the right kickstand.
