If you are looking for a whistle that you can differentiate from others, look no further. I am a field hockey umpire, and many tournaments have fields that are directly next to each other. The whistle tonality for this particular whistle is different from most, making it easier for players to recognize my whistle and differentiate from other whistle tones near by. It is also very loud and clear, and has a comfortable finger grip. It’s well worth the purchase for any sport!

I have the Fox 40 Classic Fingergip whistle but decided to try something new this season. When I first blew into this whistle I was shocked at how loud it was. However, it has been excellent and is easy for every player on the field to hear. I highly recommend this whistle if you are looking for something nice and loud that the players will immediately recognize. The kids on my field do not mistake the nearby whistles for mine because this has a very distinct sound.

This is a loud whistle, easily heard during the roller derby bouts I referee, even over the crowd and the yelling of the women whom are competing. The markdown in stairs is due to two reasons. 1) The rubber on the finger-grip has come loose, and started to slide around, split at the ends, and fray at the edges. And the white rubber on the mouth piece is starting to come apart, due to my biting down. It hasn't changed its usefulness (yet?), but I do have to watch and make sure I don't push off one of the rubber finger-grip covers. Even with those issues, it doesn't hurt my hand or fingers, and is very easy to hold and use.

If you want a premium quality whistle that doesn't diminish with the power of air passing through, this is it!This thing is FRICKIN LOUD! and only gets louder the harder you blow!Also would make a great deterrent for stranger danger or scaring away wild animals.Heck, even scared my wife a time or two!I'm no longer allowed to blow it inside the house!Highly recommend and will buy another if this gets "misplaced" by my wife

Ich benutze die Sonik Blast nur noch. Vorher habe ich einige Pfeifen von fox 40 ausprobiert und bin aber bei der sonik hängen geblieben. Sehr laut und ein durchdringender Ton kennzeichnen diese Peife. Einziges Manko ist bei starkem Wind und schnellem Laufen kann durch den Wind ein Ton aus der Pfeife kommen. Hier hilft nur einen Luftauslass zuhalten. Daran sieht man, wie leicht die sonik sich pusten lässt.
