Great little tins for baking small treats for 2 people. Bought these to use in our RV toaster oven but like them so much that 2 came into the house. Used many times and still look like new - no scratches

These are great mini pie tins. They are thick enough to hold up to the wear and tear of a classroom full of 4 and 5 year olds. No dents.

They do what they are designed to do. I made pot-pies. All pies browned nicely on top and bottom crust. Very nice single serving size. These rust easily. If this offends you, perhaps look for glass, ceramic, or silicone pie pans as these are fussy! I hand wash these tins and dry them as best as I can with a towel and then I lay them upside down in a warm oven, directly on the oven rack, and let them dry thoroughly before putting them away. So far this method has helped immensely to alleviate the rusting issue. I may go with disposable tins in future just because that’s a lot of fuss every time I want to make some little pies. They are okay for the price. Minus one star for the rust issue; and I have been baking for 60 years - I know how to treat a pie tin. I am not kitchen-ignorant. This rust issue is not entirely a matter of inexperience - they do rust quickly and easily, and I have pie tins that belonged to my mother that have never rusted.

These immediately rusted after the first wash, so we couldn’t even use them. Not worth the price whatsoever, and it was too late to return them. Do not waste your money

it's possible to make your own single-serving chicken or beef "pot pies" for a fraction of what they cost commercially. The 5-inch tin pans are available from Amazon.com and can be used over and over again. Use your best recipe for crust, and make the filling of left-over chicken or beef, with thickened sauce or gravy. Add vegetables such as peas and carrots, if you like. After baking the pies, wrap individually and store in the freezer. Perfect for heating up for an easy dinner-for-one or more!

This size is hard to find at a reasonable price in regular stores. You shoud hand wash as they rusted when we ran them through the dishwasher.

These small, one portion size pie plates are perfect, especially for fruit pies, which have a tendency to run when they are cut. The individual pie servings look more attractive than a single piece cut from a large pie. And they can be served, almost immediately, out of the oven. Also, when making the filling I needed to use more than for a regular 9 inch pie shell. The best advantage of these individual servings is they can be baked, removed from the plates, and frozen for future use. I must admit, like many other people who made comments, they will rust if they are not wiped dry as soon as they are washed. I learned this lesson when I first washed them. One more pointer: if you want these mini pie servings to have a pastry crust on top, you will need more pastry than for a regular 9 inch pie. I don't usually top with pastry as I feel the ratio of pastry to filling would be too much. My method is to make a pastry cut out smaller than the top of the pie plate (eg an apple cut out for apple pie) and place on top. No need to worry about steam not escaping as it still does from around the edges.
