The kit was fun and includes everything you need to make the characters, but including finger protectors would've been nice, as I poked myself a few times. I broke two needles, but the included three needles of each type was plenty. As a total beginner, I was able to make both characters using only the provided written instructions, but the instructions have clearly been machine translated or OCR'd, and didn't answer most of my questions. I wasn't sure how the wool should be rolled, and the larger character ended up feeling hollow. I ended up with a lot of extra wool, so this is likely an issue with my technique. There was an error in the instructions, and there were also instructions for inserting keychain rings even though the kit I purchased doesn't include any. The felting pad provided is nice and thick, but when making thin parts they can get stuck to it and have bits of wool come out of the other side of the part, so felt lightly with thin pieces when possible. Overall, it's a great and cheap way to try out needle felting, but other kits might be a little better in some areas.

I bought a few of these to do with family (of varying artistic skills) and despite the outcomes, we all had fun with it. The finger covers are nice to have and we felt that more than enough wool was provided for the designs. The needles are a little easy to break but the kit does come with some extra ones thankfully. (Also pictured is the exta material I had leftover)

This was a beginner’s kit and it seemed like the instructions were not written by a person whose first language is English. I’ve done many different crafts and enjoy learning new ones, but this kit felt like a waste of money.

Oh my goodness! This was my second ever needle felting project and I loved every second of it. It took some trial and error to get the pieces how I wanted them since I'm brand new to this but it was so much fun to figure out and work on. The kit comes with everything you need (even finger protectors) so in my opinion the kit was totally worth the price and was well priced! I love how he turned out and will be ordering more kits from this company!

This is a cute set, I think you need to buy this knowing how to felt though. I broke 3 needles. bought the clover felting needle and haven't broke that one. But I think it's because I stab a bit too violently.It comes with everything in the picture and will make you want to buy more materials to make more things
