The holes did not align with the body of the truck. DO not twist the gas cap end to try and make them line up. This will cause the entire inner neck to twist and kink,stopping the flow of gas into tank. Just install it and drill new holes if it does not match up. Yes you could undo the inner clamp and then have to replace the clamp with another, but why risk a poor fit with a hardware store type clamp? Just my 2 cents

Needed this to replace the filler neck on my 93 Ford Ranger in order to pass the California Smog test. I passed the EVAP portion but now it's difficult to refill my tank. It takes several minutes of pumping to fill tank 5x as long as before. I installed it properly but the hose on this filler neck bend when you install it causing an issue with venting. Best to just remove the top metal neck from the new one and install it on your old hose if all you need it for is to pass the Evap test.

It's an excellent price for $42 it fits just fine you will have to adjust the size to connect to the three bolts but other than that it's in excellent working order no more leaks when I fill up for gas cuz mine was cracked

I could not get the screw holes in the top to line up. Cave man neighbor came over with a electric drill and put new holes in it. Surprising to me the truck did not explode. 97 ranger stranded cab.

The initial quality seems great. Like others have noted, I had to "clock" the metal end (where you insert the handle from the gas station pump) to get the bolt holes in the hose connection to align with the bolt holes in the truck body. It required about 97% of the torque I could muster with my paws to turn the metal end while holding the inner hose. A couple channel locks would probably make it much easier. The inner hose is molded to follow the same bends as the outer hose, so you cannot just turn the metal end without preventing the inner hose from turning. The outer hose is held on the metal end with a worm clamp, but the inner hose is attached with a crimp clamp. Both hoses seem to be very high quality. I took off a couple stars for longevity because this will be my second filler hose replacement. I don't remember if this was the same brand as the previous replacement hose (brands don't actually mean much these days), but I do remember having to clock the end on my previous hose too, so I expect this one came off the same assembly line. I don't remember how long ago I installed the previous hose, but about 4 years seems right.

estuve batallando con mi manguera de llenado anterior ya que no dejaba que la bomba de la gasolina lo llenara, botaba la pistola cada segundo, con esta compra de esta manguera quedo excelente y ahora no tengo fallas, ya va para mas del mes y sigue sin problemas, la recomiendo!

Ranger 92 2wd 3.0l std. Le doy 5 estrellas por que no mintieron en las especificaciones.la boca que conecta con el tanque le quedo muy pequeña a la entrada del tanque asà que se le tuvo que adaptar. De ahà quedo de maravilla la manguera. No es compatible con ranger del 92.
