I kept having an error on my car stating my gas cap wasn’t on. This was shortly after I put gas in. I have no clue why suddenly this error came up. I researched everything I could. One of the things I stumbled upon was replaced the gas cap, so I ordered this specific one. IT WORKED.I visually did not see anything wrong with the factory gas cap. So no idea what was wrong however here we are and the error when it away. So if you find yourself reading this, I sure hope it helps too!

I have a 2015 Altima and had the gas cap since I bought the car new so when I started to get the gas cap error it was because the rubber had hardened… this new cap took 5 mins to put on and error light is gone… will buy again when needed…
