Much quieter than other shufflers, thus does not alarm my cats.

I got this thinking it was rechargeable so that is why the 4 stars. It uses batteries or you can use the USB cable to operate this card shuffler. It is a lot quieter than others I've had and shuffled the cards easily.

I’ve never used one before and I was a little bit leery that it wouldn’t work, but it works like a charm. So I highly recommend this little gem.

I can’t recommend this, unfortunately. The problems we encountered: there were no instructions included. It did not run at all with the included cable. The screw to remove the battery door was very tiny, screwed into plastic, and probably will be stripped after one time of battery replacement. But the biggest is that once we got it to run, it did not shuffle our cards. One side of cards were fed in, but other got stuck. The only positive was that it was quiet.

It works but not as good as I thought it would. Worked good for newer playing cards, not so for older worn cards

This should probably be a 3 star review, but it does work and has some different power options that seem to work (sometimes they didn't). First, no instructions - given the USB/battery power options this made for some confusion... It appears this shuffler has no internal USB battery (that you might charge then use??), but you can power the device with a USB battery (and note, some batteries need to be turned on, since this isn't recharging anything is my best guess). I couldn't get it to work with an older, 1 Amp charging block either, don't know why, but it didn't want to power up at all. Then after trying a USB battery I could get it to work better (still not consistent). Short version, use 4 AA batteries and you'll be in business - easy and works every time. This is why instructions of some kind would be nice - address how the USB power works. The other thing that I don't like is the day after I got this, the price doubled. So if you bought this early, at just under $10, it's a great value - if you get it today it's twice the price and you should look around. Its plastic construction is okay, the card tray has nothing to keep it in the shuffler so it falls out very easily. But as above, it works, shuffles pretty fast and the auto shut off sensors work - so when the cards are gone it turns off. With instructions and better price this would probably be a 5 star product. But guessing how to power up and operate this shuffler makes no sense. The USB-C port is nice, but not sure how well it actually works. Look around if it's still priced around $20, there are a lot of other options. Definite 'could be' better product with some attention to detail.
