My husband broke his leg in a motorcycle accident a few months ago. His doctor recommended an exercise bike to help him regain strength in his muscles and range of motion in his knee. We don't really have room for a full-size bike, so I thought this would be a good solution. On the plus side, the unit came fully assembled and ready to use straight out of the box. It has a convenient handle for moving it around and it fits fairly well under the desk in my husband's office. It's easy to use and the pedals rotate smoothly without jarring his injured leg. It's also nice and stable, so I don't have to worry about it wobbling or slipping. On the minus side, the power cord is short meaning you need to either use it pretty close to the outlet or use an extension cord. The height of the unit is also a little awkward - while it works well for the office chair (which is adjustable), it doesn't work for the couch or the dining room chairs. It's also almost twice the price of comparable units here on Amazon and I don't know that it's worth the extra money. So, while I'm glad I got my husband an exer-cycle he needs, I'm not sure I got the right one overall.

I purchased this for my elderly mother to keep her active while low impact and it has exceeded expectations. I love that I didn’t need to assemble it. It also has good speed and resistance levels. My mother loves that she is able to see how many calories she’s burning and can adjust the time. It is very easy to operate. Appears sturdy, sleek, and is quiet. Very happy with this purchase and think it was worth the money spent which was a sale price for the holidays. I highly recommend.

I am 5'10 and wife 5'9 - she has longer legs though. I could use under desk and for her she had to back off the desk to not hit knees on desk.The picture that shows resistance and speed are backward. You press the mode button to toggle between speed and resistance.On the resistance setting you can set 1,3,5, etc (don't know what they mean) but they do really increase the resistance.Don't know what the speed side does and we changed the speed up and down and didn't notice anything.Now for the range of motion - there really isn't much. I think it can exercise your calves and maybe some hamstrings, but there is so little range of motion there's not much there.Overall, I don't think I'd spend this kind of money on something that does so little (unless this is all you can do, then great). It's really limited.As for use on the couch, I wouldn't do it - it puts your legs at a real weird angle. I'd only use sitting upright in a chair.

It works well as an exerciser and displays quite a bit of helpful information.It measures speed, calories, distance, resistance, and time with a slick, easy-to-read display.It has five resistance levels and 12 speeds, so as a leg exerciser, it works well.But when using it under a desk you have to have the correct height, it actually stands pretty high off of the floor.If you have an adjustable chair or desk, this will work, but if you are on a couch or chair, it has to be the correct height, or because of how tall this unit is, it makes it hard to use.But with an adjustable chair it does work well.

The product is great, it works properly.I have a lot of Nerve pain in my legs and hips.The exerciser is just too strong for me, and I hoped it would help me. It actually made my hip and leg pain worse.Thanks.

So firstly I bought this on the Australian Amazon site and it came with US plugs. We got a converter but the resistance levels never worked. I asked for a refund and they offered $200 and to keep the product despite a 30 full refund offer on the site. Once I notified Amazon it was sorted and refunded immediately.
