I had one of these for like 30 years and gave it to my son after hundreds of uses. I tried to use a regular catch pan, but that was horrible. So I was lucky to find this one again. Make sure you remove the end cap prior to draining oil into it, otherwise it will “burp†oil out of the two inlets. And take it slow when you first remove the pan drain plug as it is shallow.

I have used this oil drain kit for almost 20 year. I bought my first one in the early 2000's but had to leave it behind when we moved. I found it again here on Amazon. I like it because it reduces splash back when the oil comes out of the car and drops it into a reservoir so when you need to move it the oil is contained and can't spill.

Nothing wrong with this. Not too big, not too small. The two drain/ vent holes are a good idea.
