Look at the size of the thing and how high the sides are. If you use it as a drain pan, do you really think you won't spill as soon as you try to pick it up?However... this is great for protecting the floor and as a catcher. I've put it under the hubs while flushing the brakes. I've put a good drain pan in it during oil change and this thing was great for dropping that oily wrench onto and for catching those inevitable little drips. I put it under the engine well and it saved me from crawling around looking for dropped stuff. Just pull the pan out from under the car and there's that thing you dropped. Also - these help keep my tools and stuff clean because I can put 'em on the pan instead of the ground. Great containment for lug nuts. All that said - I have the 24x20. I wish I got the 35x24. It think it would do a better job.

These drip pans are too shallow to hold much liquid and far too flexible to keep from spilling it. They do allow you to slid them under very low vehicles, but being so shallow the don't hold much liquid and will overflow easily. I should have paid more attention to the measurement.

These Pexulys car oil drip trays come in a set of 4. They’re all the same size, approximately 20x24 inches. They have rounded edges with a raised rim of about 1.5 inches. They’re made of thin plastic and slightly flexible, but appear to be durable and unbreakable. They are also versatile, perfect for a wide range of uses beyond just catching oil. Keep them near the door to hold muddy or wet boots and shoes. Use them as trays for messy art projects, like painting or clay work, to contain the mess. Place pet food and water bowls on the tray to contain spills and make cleanup easier. Use them as large plant saucers to catch excess water and dirt when watering your plants. Place them under litter boxes to catch any spills or messes. Keep a couple of these trays in the back of your car for holding leaky groceries. Put one on top of the dryer for protecting the surface. The possibilities are endless! It's nice that they give you 4 trays so you can put them to good use!

My son and I work on cars as a hobby so occasionally there will be a vehicle that leaks something or everything that needs to be parked in our pretty newly concreted driveway so sliding a couple of these underneath beats cleaning corrosives off of concrete later. I like that they are nice and stiff so if something is spilled onto them you can pick these up without accidentally dumping it.

These pans would, indeed, be perfect for catching oil. But they are great for SO MANY things! I wanted them to use with re-potting plants, as dirt catchers. They are quite sturdy, have a nice depth, and are so easy to clean. They will also be perfect as plant trays for seedlings in the little pods. I can keep water in the tray so the pods will soak up water as needed. But these will also be great for spreading out craft projects without pieces getting lost, holding Legos in place while building, sorting anything from beads to shells and sharks teeth from the beach, to keeping artist paints from spilling over onto the table. These come in a set of 4 and can be re-used indefinitely. VERY practical!

Great trays. Using for plant saucers as it works amazingly well for that and I am running out of saucers. Great for replacement kennel trays as well, but definitely using it in the greenhouse.
