I got these to hold a 5' hutch to the wall outside my office. I use my shelf for pickups and drop offs, and had previously had some issues with students moving it or attempting to move it without asking permission. These anchors make it very clear that this is not a piece of communal furniture that can be picked up and moved to the drawing studio or wherever. The anchors hold very nicely to the wall and also keep the shelf from scraping back and forth when I clean around it or when our custodian pushes against it with the dust mop.I did not have any trouble installing these. The directions had good images and were very clear to me. I'm not sure whether the anchor would hold up to someone really giving it an effort, but for light duty it's more than adequate.

For the purpose of a fridge or cabinet lock, I can see these working perfectly. For keeping furniture from tipping over, I'm not sure. We use these adhesive products for various functions around our house as renters, including hanging heavy pictures in frames, so I know this material works on our walls without stripping paint. But I don't know about its strength to hold back the storage cabinet we're using it on. Application was easy, directions were straightforward, and despite being bright shiny metal, the anchors are surprisingly unobtrusive and don't catch the eye if you're using it on a decorative piece of furniture in a public room. We foster cats with unpredictable personalities and wanted something to secure our particle board furniture in the living area, so cross your fingers. We'll update the review if we ever catch the anchors in action preventing a tip over.

This product damaged the drywall when I attempted to remove it. It was also missing pieces necessary for installation. The instructions were also in Chinese (not that you need instructions to figure it out). Overall, a really poor product.

These furniture anchors work great. Adhesive is very strong and holds as well as advertised. Simple to put together and install. Took me less than 10 minutes. Gets the job done and does it well.

This is painted paneling and it’s hard to drill, so these anchors are a great option. They are more sturdy than just regular safety adhesives (the white kind) due to the bolts and wire. There is enough in a pack for one bookshelf. They also give you an extra wire.

For those not wanting to drill holes in walls, this is a viable solution. I would use it on shorter dressers/furniture. Not so much taller pieces in my opinion. Those may need to be anchored at a higher level and a little more securely.

We bought a piece of furniture for our grandsons room. It was very wobbly on the carpet. No matter what we did, it wasn’t stable enough. These anchors are the answer. They keep the bookshelf stable and safe. Easy to install too!
