This is a relay, a common automation part - it has to be soldered into a PCB. It matched up perfectly, and with a little hand solder/de-solder work, the clothes dryer in our home is back in action. One of those little things that works. Arrived promptly also! Don't forget to use your ground strap when handling circuit boards.

I had the dreaded no start issue with our older Whirlpool Cabrio WED6600VU0 dryer. Initial diagnosis and Googling led me to replacing the mainboard as I had about 6-7 years ago for the same issue.Luckily this time, I dug a little further and found the power pin on the OE installed relay was burned through the PCB. I ordered this kit, desoldered the original, cleaned things up with some rubbing alcohol, and soldered the new one in. Worked like a charm for some time, effort, and way less $ invested. The mainboard was $400+ IF I could find one in-stock, which was pretty much eBay refurbs or folks that had 1-2 in stock at $500+. At those prices, I could damn near buy a new dryer! Well $20-ish bucks later, fixed it myself.Worth looking into and doing if you like some DIY or have ever soldered before, this is actually a pretty easy job. Lots on YouTube for how to replace relays on circuit boards, and the washer itself was easy to dig into with basic tools.

Saved me about $900 and having to purchase a new dryer. We had a power surge which cause the relay in my whirlpool duet steam dryer to blow. Looked all over for the control board which has been discontinued or was $400. I called a repair shop near me and he said it was on national backorder and suggested a place to send the control board to have it rebuilt. Well that got me thinking that I could probably do it myself. I was right. Ordered this little guy, used the sucker to pull the old stuff off, replaced the relay, and tada! Working dryer, no more code F1. It's been about 3 weeks and my dryer is working better than it did before. Shipping was fast and seller is A1. Thank you!!!Update: it's now been 2 years and 3 months and this relay is STILL working amazingly!

My fairly new Whirlpool dryer stopped working. I checked the motor, bearings and belt but nothing was wrong with them.I watched about 20 youtube videos and came up with this relay being out. So I took the control panel off again and found a service repair manual stuffed in the empty part of the top. It showed me how to test the circuit board and what to look for. The results were that particular relay. An entire circuit board was over $125, and entire dryer is around $1000. This relay was $15. I figured I had nothing to lose. I followed the instruction and it took me about an hour to desolder the old relay out and solder the new one in. I added a couple wires like the YouTube video showed me and the dryer hasn't worked this well since we bought it. The relat has been in tge dryer for around 6 months at this point and is going strong. I highly recomnend trying this before calling an appliance repair shop or replacing the dryer. Bonus: when I cleaned the dryer out I found $5 in change.

Relay was burned out. Instead of just re-soldering the burned solder joint, decided to replace the relay itself. Once removed from the board, shaking the relay confirmed that the relay itself was bad so it was good decision.Ordered this because it came with solder sucker. I also ordered solder wick and I think that was a good decision. I do not know if it was because I am not used to using the sucker but the overall, sucker did very poor job of taking out the solder (that is why I took 1 star off of this package).Relay itself worked just fine.

As others, I received the F01 error on the display and when I opened the unit I found black burn marks on the board and housing. The suction tool worked great at clearing out the holes. Dryer is back up and running! Saved a lot of money by replacing just this part instead of the whole board! Highly recommended!

First, it was a very inexpensive repair to do myself compared to hiring a pro. Plus, the relay was an exact match to the original, same brand and markings. Inclusion of a solder sucker was a nice touch.

I found the issue (code F01) with my dryer on YouTube. I bought the relay and then opened up the dryer. The problem was just as described. The part arrived and my son-in-law soldered it in place. My dryer works like normal.
