Brought this on a trip to collect shells and it worked pretty well. The holes are small enough that it filtered out sand well without small shells falling through. Our only issue was that the black grip wouldn’t stay on when we used it in the water. Also would recommend getting it with a pole like some people do because it would’ve made it a lot easier! It was very sturdy though and didn’t bend or warp at all after hours of use.

Looks to be well built. I was nervous when I saw the size of the box, but when I opened it the sift took up the entire size of the box. Very happy with the size, look, and ease of use. I’ve seen few people report the welds didn’t hold open so I am hoping mine hold. It is fairly light in weight, certainly wouldn’t be a concern to add it to a backpack or carry the entire time. I plan to use it in wet sand for shark teeth and other fossils.

I bought this thinking It was really going to be sturdy and what not, But I used it for 3 hours at a beach and the thing broke.. few of the Welds broke.Not happy and won't get another one!For $100 you would think you would get something really good but I guess not
