This perforated steel strapping will be perfect for bridging joists and supporting steel roofing panels. We are using steel strap in place of wooden due to tight space constraints. It should support better and last significantly longer than plastic.

I sometimes order items to keep for future needs. Such is the case with the Fixirons 2 Pack Galvanized Metal Pipe Strap 3/4-Inch x 10-Feet 24-Gauge. I was planning on keeping it for future use. A couple of days after it arrived, the smokestack of our wood-burning stove came apart from the support pole. Had I not ordered and received this strapping when I did, we would have lost our smokestack and, therefore, our stove. Since I had it, my adult son was able to secure it to the support pole with no problem at all and very quickly. We kept the use of our stove for the latest cool spells we have had! Of course, we didn't use much of it so we will have more for future uses after all! I'm just relieved that we had it when we did. I definitely recommend this pipe strap!!

Item thickness is only 5/8 of advertised material thickness.Advertised thickness, 24 Gauge (~.024"),actual thickness only ~.015".Item is about 40% less strong than expected.
