Easily mounted on my garage wall. I was able to mount by drilling into studs rather than using the enclosed sheet rock screws. The rack holds my two 10 foot paddle boards with the straps securing them. As noted by another reviewer, the buckle was attached to the strap improperly so I needed to redo the way it was threaded to achieve a secure hold. This is very simple to do. I wouldn’t recommend using only the sheet rock screws as I would expect the weight of paddle boards or kayaks would pull loose from the wall. I feel this is well built and easy to install.

Not the most attractive mount, but it mounts easy and does a great job of holding a kayak. At first I was skeptical due to the light weight construction, and I’m sure if you got a little too rough you could easily break these. That being said mine have held tight for over a year with no issues. The straps are LONG as in too long to adjust so the other strap will clip, see picture. I’m not disappointed, especially for the price. It does the job and seems tough enough to last with care.

sturdy metal frame and practical - unfortunately , one of the plastic buckles for the securing strap came broken. It seems that the buckles could be a little better quality

We got two sets to hang two kayaks in our garage, one on top of the other. They were perfect and a great price.

This is my first ever review on Amazon, but I saw a good amount of negative reviews on this product about the straps not holding so I thought it was worth noting that the straps are setup backwards from the factory, and require adjusting in order for them to hold.I had the exact same issue once I mounted everything to the wall and got my kayak on, when I went to tie it down the straps wouldn’t hold. That’s when I realized the way they are setup out of the box was the reason they weren’t staying taught. You have to completely undo the straps from the clips and reinsert them the proper way (see photos) in order for them to hold.I’ve had my kayak up on the wall strapped in for the last week and the straps are still holding strong. Hope this helps people who are either having issues with their straps or helps others decide on buying this wall setup. The build quality is great and I haven’t had any issues.

I bought these because they were a great value for the price, and I liked that I could fold them up when not in use.Very easy to install, but I used 3 inch corrosion resistant deck screws since I was installing on my privacy fence. The supplied screws are fine for indoors though. They did provide wall anchors for installation into concrete walls also. Do not use the anchors in drywall... you must mount to a stud. The straps, on the other hand are useless. They are way too long, and three straps do not hold tight on the friction adjustment. I'll have to modify the straps to make them work.Overall, for the value, I think they are still a good deal. Only dropping to 4 stars because of the straps.

Product receivedIt is missing the two wing bolts that lock the arm in place,The padded baris not really padded and be sure to check the sizes for your kayak as this is fairly smallThe straps are permanently affixed so when you fold up you are still left with straps hanging.Ok but not really fantastic,

So we wall mounted our 40lb canoe on our wall today. Yes, our dining room wall. The installation was pretty frustrating. Why? The anchors are very poorly made, soft cheap plastic. The brackets pulled out, even using the correct drill bit and following the instructions. Too cheap. We ended up buying (separately) better, higher quality drywall anchors/plugs. This was to guarantee the canoe wouldn't fall due to poorly designed anchors/screws that didn't match.3 star for this alone. Integrity on support is foremost! We do love these. And they are doing the job.
