I use these hooks to store my snowboards inside my house, above my stairs so they’re out of the way. They are made of strong steel that is covered with a coating to prevent rust. The included screws were not the best. The hook portion forces you to angle your driver a little bit, so I ended up accidentally stripping one of the screws even though I was fairly careful. Fortunately, I had other long screws so it wasn’t a big issue. Overall, the installation was straightforward.I drilled pilot holes into wall studs before driving in the screws. I wasn’t comfortable with using drywall anchors to hold up two snowboards. Especially since I am using them indoors, I can’t risk them coming loose. Once the hooks are secured, they are very sturdy; I tested them by applying some of my weight to them.The soft cushion along the hooks protects whatever you’re hanging from dents or scratches. This worked perfectly for my snowboards since I didn’t want to dent the metal edge. Eventually, my snowboards may cut through the cushioning, but still, I’d rather damage the cushion than my snowboards.

The order was delivered in a couple of days. The packaging was damaged in the corner and if the box wasn’t covered in plastic, the anchors and screws would have spilled out during shipping. The plastic container that was used to hold all the anchors and screws was open so all anchors and screws were just being tossed around. Contents of the package needs to be better secured. At least shrink wrap or tape the plastic container holding the anchors and screws.The bars seem very sturdy. I like that it has foam padding around the bar so it doesn’t scratch and reduce slipping. I didn’t use the anchors and screws that came with it. I used a stud finder and used wood screws to mount the bars on my garage wall. It does the job. Good price for a set of four bars which will hold two kayaks(2 bars per kayak). The mounting points could use plates to better stabilize from moving side to side. All in all, a decent product with small gripes.

These storage hooks were easy to install into my metal garage. I used some heavy duty metal screws for each one, and placed them into the metal tube studs. The hooks seem very sturdy and have a thick foam coating on the arms that definitely protects the items you place on the arms.I used these hooks to store extra metal roofing panels. Those metal panels are valuable to keep, but a challenge to store on the ground as they dent easily and take up a lot of room. I previously had the panels stacked across some cardboard boxes. Now they are up on the hooks and out of the way, freeing up a great deal of room in my shop. These hooks were a good solution for me.

Heavy enough to hold most kayaks, with decent construction. There isn't much here for moving parts, so it's pretty difficult to screw up. Included hardware is appreciated.

Pretty much exactly what I needed for the kayak and some large 10x2 boards I use to load mowers into the back of my pickup. The kayak is large, but not heavy. The boards are both large and heavy. These hooks work great for both. I ended up using larger indoor wood screws, as I wasn't sure the ones that came with the hooks would get through the drywall in the garage and deep enough into the studs. I don't trust wall anchors, especially the type that came with these hooks. For the kayak, the anchors and screws would have been just fine weight-wise, but I wasn't taking chances with the boards.I like that the hooks are padded - not needed for the heavy boards, but definitely a plus for the kayak.

We got this rack set for our kayak and cargo box. While we haven’t installed it yet as we’re still reconfiguring our garage, I did fit the rack against our items to be hung up.There is lots of room for the kayak, this will be not a problem at all.It is slightly tighter with our 16 cu.ft. Thule Motion XT L cargo box but I think we can make it work.The neoprene rubber protectors are high quality, and I like that the exposed end has a plastic cap on it. The set comes with high quality mounting hardware. Overall, this is exactly the type of rack we were looking for.

These hooks get the job done. I didn’t use them for kayaks or anything like that. I used them to hold vinyl lattice pieces. The pieces are quite heavy, but these seem to be holding up. The hooks are sturdy. The screws are substantial…predrill if attaching hooks to wood studs. I screwed them directly into the studs of my shed, so no need for the anchors. They are on the outside of the shed, so we’ll see how outdoor friendly they are. I will update if there are any problems. As of now, I would recommend them. Happy reviewer!

Holds my 10' Kayaks perfectly on the wall, tubular steel is strong and rubber cushion keeps them from sliding.
