I had a digging fork for several years and it finally gave out. I replaced it with this one and the first time I used it (stuck it in the ground) the fork head embedded in the handle started to wobble. In attempting to loosen the soil around a plant I wanted to dig up and move, I fairly gently leveraged against the handle with very little force and the tine spine that goes into the handle bent. The metal is soft. This is not useful at all as a garden tool. I wasted my time and money for junk.

This is a heavy duty digger. Very well made. We have not used it yet but looks like it will be great for digging potatoes in the garden.
