First off, I want to say this product was packaged very well. Two hoes came in my package with a nice canvas drawstring bag to store them in, and a pair of cotton garden gloves. Great value for the price! The hoes are very well made and they look like they will last as long as a good shovel would. There were some mixed reviews on how sharp the tool is, I have to say it does not slice like a sharp blade instead I find it works similar to using an ax. Once I got the feel for how to use it, in a chopping motion like you are swinging an ax. I started to chop my weeds like a mad woman...LOL. I have a back yard that I laid weed cloth and mulch down a few years ago and I'm in the process of getting rid of that horrible weed cloth. Never again! This hoe is able to chop right through the weed cloth making it easier to remove. I plan on putting a long handle on one of the hoes and keeping the other as a hand tool. I am 68 years young, avid female gardener and this is one of my best garden tools now.

These things are just the right size and weight. All you need is a handle of the length you like and put it on and turn it upside down and hit the back of the handle on something hard and it will drive itself down nice and tight and then put you a screw in it .They are extremely sharp not need to sharpen.

I was surprised when it arrived because I thought I ordered only one but arrived two. So the first question It came to my mind as what I do with two of the same tools. Then I noticed that you can attach a handle, so now it makes sense. I use one for when I knee down or when sitting on a garden stool, and the other one with the long handle for when I work standing up. It was great having a curtain rod left over, so I used the pencil sharpener and screwed it through the provided hole, and voila! Â Good quality. One piece construction will last forever.

It does a great job cutting through the soil and chopping the weeds. It's sharp. Be careful. You do have to bend down to use it.

This review is based on only a few uses but on hard rocky ground and on tough weeds. Got these for clearing horehound and thistles in our horse pasture. Horehound especially has very tough roots. Hoe comes almost razor sharp and the edge seems very tough. Removes weeds with ease and the angle of the head really lets you get into the ground well. Put handles on both, so I have a backup but so far, the first example is holding up well. For the price this hoe seems an excellent value.

It looks sturdy I just used it for one day Sharp and I added a wooden handle I bought from Lowe's I got a picture for the scanning code so you can look for the same thing it cost $17Advise you to add the wooden handle cuz it make the job way easier and you can hit harders on the grass or the weeds without breaking your back, one more advice if you are trying to clean weeds you better do it after the rain for the soil will be moist and the roots are easy to take out, good luck.
