Great tool for tilling soil in a small space. Pick end gets after those deep rooted weeds. Reccomend this garden tool.

Forged head is very good at loosening tough soils. Only issue is the handle is small in diameter so somewhat small for large hands.

I bought this to use out in the field digging up invasive plant species in a very rocky area. This tool is not meant for that. It did the job but wore out quickly because I was pounding on rock very often. I wore 1/2 inch off the tip in less than a month. I now use it in the garden and it is fantastic! This is what it was made for, not pounding on rocks all the time. Such a useful tool in the garden and for landscaping. I use it all the time, never knew it could be so useful.

Good product for the price, you do have to put the top on & attach it to the handle yourself though

It is a well made and solid tool but it is small. The pick mattock is only 10 inches long. It is a relatively expensive weed puller and hand pick.

I needed a small pickaxe to help me remove the small suckering "baby" agave plants that come up around the parent agaves. The ground can be hard and there is rock mulch typical of Arizona. I wanted it sturdy, not too light and not too heavy. This says it has hardened steel, which is important. The handle is fiberglass and it has rubber on the handle to provide a good grip. I used it this morning and it worked perfectly. The head is not slipping down on the handle. I didn't want to spend a lot. This was about $15 with free prime shipping. It had a very good review so I went with it. I'm not the least bit disappointed.

I work construction this is a must have tool. But there no good gripe and if the pick break you just have to buy the pick not the handle.
