I've had multiple sets of quick connectors for hoses over the years and none of them were very good. But I gave it another shot and these are the ones to have. They don't leak. They connect smoothly. They allow the connected pieces to rotate and that makes for easier use and fewer twists or kinks. Also, these have what I believe is the best orientation. The smaller nipple side of the connectors is made to fit into the attachments at the end of the hose. This makes it much easier to work the quick connect and easier to store and attachments. Additionally, it means you can buy extra nipples if you have multiple attachments, like a wand, or sprinkler or... Some quick connectors have the orientation backwards. Check before you buy.

I picked this set because it was all brass, no plastic. It has an excellent fit and finish on the five joints I have made up, none have leaked.The semi bad, none of the quick connects on Amazon seem to advertise inside diameter which next to knowing it will fit the 3/4" connector on your hose is probably the second most important bit of infoThe Inside Diameter is 25/64 or just over 3/8.For perspective my flexzilla hose connector has an inside diameter of 7/16.The generic quick connect pictured next to this product above was inside diameter of 1/2".I bought these to use with a pressure washer so initially I was concerned that the flow restriction would starve the pump, but for my application it was a non issue.For convenience I also coupled it with a ball valve which ultimately was my most restrictive component at 21/64 id or just over 5/16.Anyway I hope this helps. Overall fit and finish are excellent, may be the most restrictive part of your setup for sprinklers or pressure washers if the highest volumes are desired. As you can see the generic plastic/brass combo was 1/2" which would be less restrictive than the hose itself.Also on one other note, the oring on these is on the male end, vice hidden in the female end like most other quick connects. Makes replacement easy, but also way more prone to damage from dragging or dropping. Also definitely not compatible with the other style.Hope this helps.

Bought 2 packs of 3 connectors to connect garden hoses to related devices thinking the higher price must mean better quality. Turned out to be complete garbage! On hand tightening the first female connector to a hose the outer ring section of the connector split and broke off. The next set of connectors tightened but would not connect together until I sprayed silicon lube on the bearings in the sliding section of the female connector. (This turned out to be necessary for all of the pairs.) Once the two halves were connected, they both leaked at the hose and spray gun connections (even though I used thread sealant tape for both) AND they leaked at the union between male and female sections - in other words at all 3 possible locations. Then decided to cut my losses and try returning them to Amazon. The only positive points are Amazon gave me a very quick full refund and I then found better products elsewhere for less money.....
