This is probably the hardest review that I have ever done. I do reviews to be helpful and this one is just plain tricky - I'll get started.1 STAR REVIEW - 1. Spray head falls off, 2. Spray head leaks, 3. Sharp areas on the handle that dig into your hand while watering. These are ALL problems.5 STAR REVIEW - 1. Holds a lot of water!, 2. Perfectly balanced, 3. Metal rose plate puts out a gentle stream of water, 4. As you water you let the can rotate down and let your hand slip down the curved handle - so easy and comfortable. The design of the can is truly perfect! (I own 3 of them). So, if we can just fix the things that make this can a 1 Star - then we'd have a 5 Star! It's easily done - here we go.First let's fix the handle. Use a file and remove the sharp plastic ridge on the the top and inside of the hand. Only takes a few minutes. The can is now comfortable in the hand. Now let's fix the leaking head and fall off issue - You've got your trusty file, so remove the plastic ridges where the head fits on. It will leak like crazy if you put the head on over those - the ridges also contribute to the "falling off" issue. There is a ridge on the top and the bottom (just like the handle). Once those are filed off, put the head on and snug it up tight. it will still leak a little bit. To fix that and the falling off part - take some electrical tape, 1" wide works the best, and take a few turns around the head and spout. Done! And as you'll see in my picture of the can, you have to look to see the tape. Black tape on the black spout - it just blends in.You now have a 5 Star watering can! You can see the ridges that need to be removed in the pic's and the tape job.One last thing, if you look at the listing you will see the head installed "down" in the main pic and installed "up" in one of the other pic's. I guess that is just user preference. I really, really like it installed "up". Try it both ways and see what you like - then tape it on so that it stays on and doesn't leak.5 Stars for this watering can, once modified.

This is a really nice product. It is very strong, very stylish, and fun to use! It is large enough that you can do a lot of watering of larger plants without as many trips to refill! It is a great value for the price! But be aware that this is a high flow can. When you tilt it very slowly, hoping to get a light showering for small, tender new sprouts, you will get an 8" arc of high-flow rain. Not a problem if that is what you need, so this is great for an established garden, but for baby new sprouts, especially delicate sprouts like baby herbs, you are going to crush them flat with the mighty power of this spout. I also noticed that no matter how fast or slow you pour, the pattern of the spout still makes a wide solid stream at the base of the spout. This might be very useful though, once you realize this and take advantage of it. Overall, glad I bought it and will get a lot of use out of it, just don't use it on very small, tender little baby plants or you are going to flatten them like a sumo-wrestler sitting on a hot krispy kreme donut!

I like that the can allows you the ability to haul a decent amount of water and it's easy to handle. Though the sprinkler head is durable in of itself, it is not fitted properly to the can and will leak almost 20% of the water that comes out of the head. And, the less then optimum fit can also cause the head to actually come off from time to time while using it.

This is a great sized watering can - less trips but not too heavy. Only complaint is that the nozzle does not fit perfectly and falls off easily.

Nov 16, 2023. French Blue Watering Can | 3 Gallon Indoor OutdoorI bought this to replace my old one that was brittle from the Arizona sun.It is stamped, "Made in France" on the bottom.I like the capacity and the extra support on the bottom.Be aware that it leaks from the sprinkler head. Since I am not going to need a straight pour spout, I am going to put silicone sealer on the spout, and reattach the sprinkler head.Because I use it for ground clear, I wish it had markings for the fill level. I need to know how much water to put in after a quart of ground clear.I hope it is sturdy. I will use a UV protectant on it.

It’s a generous pour! Only issue is the nozzle will fall off while watering. I don’t use it anymore for that reason and it doesn’t make any difference. I love the top - it’s easy to drop the hose in with the nozzle. Some watering cans don’t have that large an opening. I use this to fertilize my plants since it’s easy to get the dry packets of fertilizer in the top.

Love the large capacity of 3 gallons. I have two so I can balance the weight from my rain barrel to a far garden bed. The rain diffuser does leak a little, but what can you do about it? I do wish it came in colors other than blue.
