I am not a mechanic but I do a little work around the garage. This matched up with my old one and was a super easy install. I spent more time finding an extension to reach the bolt them the time it actually took to replace it. Went back together with no leaks.

I purchased this product for a 2009 Journey with the 3.5L and works like OEM. It's code free and the check engine light is now off. The only thing is that I had to trim off the small tab section that you can see in the photos for it to fit.

Received it on dec 21, 2024 and on jan 4, 2025 stuck on closed. Mechanic threw it away so wasnt able to take picture. I would rather pay the 25 at local auto parts then going thru all this. Good luck. You guys need to fix this system. I just found out they sent me the wrong thermostat. This could off mess up my engine if i wasnt aware of the heating up. This needs to stop. Trusting i was sent the correct thermostat my mechanic didnt double check. The gasket was to big and the thermostat longer and wider. Not sure how he even got it in.

El producto tardo casi 3 semanas ya que se envÃa desde EU, en cuanto llego procedà a instalarlo y me doy cuenta que el empaque es diferente, el cuál estuve revisando y haciendo varias pruebas para colocarlo y al final embono sin problema, al final lo he probado, calentando el carro y revisando el tablero y si funciona además que elimino el código P0128
