Well, first and foremost it ships in two separate boxes that was sent two days apart (Fed Ex). Secondary is it is very heavy. It took about another day to assemble, not all of the pieces are labeled and if you dont make sure the screws are all the way down, there will be gaps. That being said this is the perfect addition to my art studio. Plenty of storage space. The height is perfect for cutting glass. Very sturdy and great quality. I did have to call customer service about only getting 1 box and they were so nice and professional. I absolutely love it. (No outlet and light pad dosen't come with it)

We bought two of these and it was a game changer for our crafting area. It has gone from complete chaos to peaceful organization. I am giving 4 stars because one of the desks came with a chip that didn't appear to be from shipping (the box was in perfect condition and we didn't see the missing piece of wood in the box, it looks like it just wasn't inspected properly before it was packaged), we painted the chip white so it is less noticeable but still, it is disappointing. The chip is on the outer part too, so unfortunately, it is not in a more hidden spot on the desk. This desk provides lots of storage and makes it easy to keep your work area clutter free.

Very happy with the desk! Putting it together was not for sissies - took about 5 hours to put it together- definitely needs 2 people! It was worth the effort though. The height is a bit high for sewing - need a high chair!
