This would be a good layering hoodie. It could also be worn later in the spring time on a chilly night by itself too. I sized up to avoid any possible shrinking when washed but otherwise it fits very nicely.

My 9-year-old daughter wears size 10/12 in most clothes, and I ordered this hoodie in size 11/12 for her. It fits her just right.The hoodie arrived in a clear plastic bag. Upon unpacking it, I did not notice any funky smell. I noted first that the shade was a little off from the one pictured online. Another is that the pocket size is smaller. The hoodie is lightweight, not see-through, and suitable for cooler weather but not for Winter. The fabric has a cotton feel to it and is soft enough to the touch. Stitching is even inside and out, and there are no loose threads.It hasn't been worn since California's weather is still hot, and I can't tell how well it will hold up. I will update my review if it peels, shrinks, or fades after wear and laundry.Knocking off 1* since the color and style are not as pictured.

Got this for my step niece who just turned 10. The size is good and the material is soft and comfy. It fits her well and I like that it is a classic hoodie style. The butterfly is cute but it's so small. It looks kind of silly on the large hoodie. Also the colors don't go well. The flowers are yellow and the hoodie is heather gray which doesn't really look good together. It's cute but could be better.

This hoodie is great! It's a beautiful color pink. It is definitely more of a coral pink than a hot pink like is shown in the photos. I actually prefer it more than what's pictured. It's a soft cotton and feels like it would be comfortable. The print is done very well. I love the butterflies. This is not a thick hoodie so on its own it would be best for fall or spring unless you layer them it would be great for winter. It washed great in cold water but because it's cotton I hung it to dry. It came out looking the same as when it went in. My daughter loves it. Would recommend.

This shirt is nice and long and really presents well when ironed and worn. It is warm and the sleeves and shirt have a great height. It’s perfect sizing and it is smooth and soft. It’s great for a field trip or when taking the kids to an event. Although after washing it does wrinkle fast and would need to be ironed to be presentable.
