Update. I was able cut it pretty easily now. At first I didn’t press it hard enough and also not have the correct angle. But now that I, the tool works great!

I like this tool. Its a lot easier on my small, little old lady hands than plier type cutters. It does not do long cuts on 12x12 floor tiles.

There was a definite learning curve but once I got a feel for it I was able to make accurate clean cuts on THICK 3/8†aquarium glass. Score with good pressure and fluid motion the entire length of the cut. Take your time running the break by turning the handle in the smallest of increments and you will get a clean cut. There are much better tools out there but for the DIY guy this is more than sufficient.

This does cut glass but not thicker glass such as subway tile.

I needed to cut some glass tile and thought I would give this a try. I like to review based price versus performance and on that basis, it's hard to beat. I did find that it took a bit of experimentation to get a clean brake on glass tile. The tile was reasonably thick and the first several tries did not give a clean break. I then scored both sides of the tile several times (a small framing square is a big help for this), inserted the tile in the press, slowly tightened it, and then got a nice clean break. I have not tried it on plain glass, but based on cutting tile, it would probably work even better on regular glass. Make no mistake, this is not a tool for "production", but to cut an occasional piece of glass or a few tiles, it does the job. A plus is that it comes with decent storage box, 2 additional cutting wheels, and a small screwdriver to change them out. Bottom line, just experiment with what you are cutting on some scrap to get a feel for the tool before you make your final cut, and go slow on the press to make the break.

Returned it right away. It had white stuff on the screwdriver. It looked used to me. Tried using it anyway, but it wasn’t user friendly.

Rigid construction and works well on marble tiles, very easy and convenient to use. First time tiling experience and this made it easy.

The device was well constructed and easy to use. This was my first attempt to cut glass and it worked out perfectly. I did not cut thicker glass so I cannot ascertain the outcome when cutting glass at the tools upper limits.
