We have been using a bottle cutter that scores the glass and then uses hot and cold water to break the bottle. That works fine on the full width of the bottle, but we wanted to make vases and cut the bottles where the neck is narrower. These cutting discs are excellent and much faster than scoring/hot/cold. It's not perfectly clean but will work great. We also rounded the edges with a "Diamond Coated Burr Mounted Point Grinding Bits, 4mm Concave Head Rotary Drill Bits 1/4'' Shank"

These things were perfect and super clean cut. I did a large tile 48†by 60†and I did wet cut! Perfect and only used one disk for the entire project. I would recommend

These work brilliantly, with hardly any chipping.

Perfect for cutting wine bottles to make drinking glasses and vases. Works much better than scoring with a glass cutter, heating with a candle and then submerging in ice water. Took three or four tries to perfect the technique but I’m very satisfied with the results.

This cutting disk is so much all-in-one. It cuts almost anything. The other day, I was doing something and where I needed to cut a tape, I didn't see a knife around and I literally cut a tape using this disc :). It produces little heat compared to other conventional disks and lasts very very longer. I like it.

I'm a contractor and do several bathroom jobs a year. I've used all kinds of tile saw blades for grinder. This is by far best blade I've ever used. It cuts without chipping tiles. Also, used to grind down edge or profile edge on angle with them. It gives me a tile (wet) saw cut. Highly recommend.

These disks cut glass very effectively and I have no doubt they would cut other brittle materials effectively as well. However, I have to take serious issue with the illustrations showing them to make deep freehand cuts with an angle grinder in any material. To use an angle grinder in this way is to use it for a purpose never intended. An angle grinder is for grinding, not making deep cuts. No matter what the material, the odds of the blade getting off course and binding in the cut are significant. It may be unlikely the blade will break, but part(s) of a frangible work piece could easily become projectiles or one could lose control of the tool.

It will not cut ceramic tile like shown in the video, but it is good for 45° animals and making a smooth edge
