The new 'bullet' that holds the gears was a big improvement as compared to the unit in the transmission. Very nice set of parts.

The product is great the parts are perfect, I just did not get the gray gear. If I had ordered the drive gear that may help with a 342 I could have used the red gear sent in the kit. Do not be afraid to by the product! just the shop keeper has no bed side manor.

This was shipped wrapped in 3 sheets of printer paper and pack by tape, no instructions for which gear to use or how to calculate how to figure that out!

There are 9 pieces in this kit. One might like it better if it wasn't sent in two 1 cent pieces of copy paper rolled up. Many times I think Amazon provides packaging too good for the need. Not this one. It will surely be good if I have all the pieces when I go to do it. And it was slow delivery. As they said but slow. They must sell enough of these for a million Chevy transmissions sold here to have some State side for a faster delivery. I would rather have paid more for it to be a prime sale.
