This ND filter works great. I already tested it at the beach and my long exposure photography looks great. I was amazed by the results. A 6 stops works perfect for me. Thank you guys for making this great product and at a affordable price.

I use this ND filter for video - I prefer to maintain a 180-degree shutter angle which can make sunny conditions difficult for maintaining proper exposure.It's fine. It does its job. It's exactly a middle-of-the-road filter. In my uses I've not seen a noticeable loss in sharpness. There is a very slight color cast which is easy to correct in post. I've heard and read things about the filter scratching easily but I've had no such issues, even when I've had to throw the filter in my pocket in a pinch.It's perfectly fine at its price point. If you need absolute perfection you won't find it here, but you will be looking north of $200.

I don't know anything about cameras, but my dad likes it and it lets him take certain pictures he apparently couldn't without it, and it was cheap, so I'm very happy with this purchase. It was a good present.

All filters purchased appear to be of top quality. due to weather and other issues I have not been able to used them. I did review each filter and found they function as advertised.

It seems that I'm having a string of bad luck lately with lens filters, the latest problem I'm having is my newly acquired Gobe 39mm ND64 lens filter.The camera and lens I'm using or intend to use the ND filter with is a Leica M8 with a 35mm Summarit-M lens. I currently have a Leica supplied UV/IR filter (13410) on the lens and the stock lens hood (12459) as well.Now, the problem with the Gobe ND filter is quite simple, while it is a 39mm filter and it does mount to both the Leica lens and Leica filter without problem, it does not fit under the Leica lens hood as the Leica UV/IR filter does, this is due to Gobe giving the filter a slightly larger (thicker/larger diameter) structure than the Leica UV/IR filter. The only option for use is to abandon the Lens hood, or purchase an aftermarket lens hood that attaches to the end of the filter.For reference the Leica stock lend hood does not attach to the lens filter thread, but rather to a reversed (male thread on lens) hood specific thread on the lens.Other than my unique mounting issues the lens appears to perform well enough.

Beim Fotografieren mit sehr großen Blenden gerade in der Mittagssonne sind ND Filter fast die letzte Möglichkeit überbelichtete Bilder zu vermeiden. Super finde ich, dass man diesen Filter einfach mit anderen zusammen schrauben kann und sie somit alle gesammelt hat. Hat man dann noch Schutzkappen dafür kann man somit all seine Filter gesammelt transportieren ohne Angst zu haben, dass etwas verkratzt. Der Filter selbst ist von guter Qualität, hab bis jetzt noch keinen Kratzer und hat keine Unreinheiten oder Flecken auf dem entgültigen Bild!

I'm new to using filters, but I'm fully aware that diminished quality equipment will dramatically impact on your pictures. Gobe seem to be a new brand and there were some very encouraging videos, in addition to the pricing being reasonable - not the cheapest, but also no expensive. So I took the leap and bought an entire range. This review is for the ND64.I used the filter for a 30s long exposure, my first filtered long exposure, and it came out beautifully. The filter was a 58mm and fitted flawlessly. I also like that when you purchase a few filters, with the same thread, they come screwed together with metal end caps. This provides nice protection. They also come with a small bag.I like them and would buy with confidence, and now need to test the others, particularly the ND1000.

I have 4 Gobe filters & for the cost of them, in my opinion they’re up there with the more expensive ones, currently own 77mm ND64, ND1000, CPL & a clear one for when I do steel wool photography to protect my lens, also got 58mm CPL as well for another lens, quality is good, had no issue with this filter or any of my other ND filters, what I will say is be careful when stacking them, I regularly use my ND64 or ND1000 + my CPL together & they often get stuck together which is a pain but if your not stacking them it’s not an issue & quality is really good. I’ve only noticed colour cast (slightly) when exposing for 4 mins or more, would certainly recommend them and if I need any more I’d buy Gobe filters again.
