I used this to replace a blown speaker in an old Mirage subwoofer. It sounds better than the original. Nice, tight, controlled bass. Quality is much higher that the original, too.

While cleaning out my attic. I found a old set of mid 90's 3-way optimus speakers. The drivers were shot and they didn't have any crossover at all. So I gutted them cleaned up the cabinets reinsulated added 3-way crossovers replaced the tweeters ,midrange and got these 8 inch woofers. Everything fit perfect . The hardest part was replacing the grill fabric. It cost me about $200 for everything and now I have my Frankenstein speakers that sound just as good as my klipsch tower speakers at a quarter of the price. Great tight bass from a sealed speaker box coupled with a 10 inch subwoofer and I have all the bass I'll need.

Replaced the old woofers in my 26 y.o. Bose 601's with these. They sound the way the Bose should of sounded when I bought them new. Nice deep rich bass. I just listened to a pair of PSB Imagine T3's the other day at a music store. If I were to rate the PSB's (in a perfect sound environment) a 10/10, I would rate my new sounding Bose a 6/10. Overall they sound great, but being an old speaker design (speaker box, same tweeters, same crossover) they are not going to reach the same quality of modern day speakers like PSB or Klipsch. If you have an old pair of speakers however that you are fond of and just want to give them some new life the Goldwood's are not a bad choice for the money.

I Purchased The Rockville Rock Party 8 Bluetooth System recently & Like everyone else the Bass Lacks Bigtime, So in the Process, I did change the Speakers with my Yamahas while I'm waiting for the Goldwood 8`s to arrive possibly by tomorrow. I think it`s gonna be an awesome fix and easy to do. I`ll update with a quick video as soon as i can . Good day All , Keep Rockin the Bass

Purchased an 8 inch woofer powered protechnica 4 way speaker set from Heartland America that appeared to have exceptional piezo drivers for mid range and high frequency mastering. Turned out I was 100% right on. The only thing left to due was to change to a super high quality woofer. These Goldwoods are top notch performers, moderately priced, and fit the speaker boxes perfectly. The performance is nothing less than amazing. The conversion is simple. Suggest temporarely placing paper towel or toilet paper under the soldered speaker lugs (to avoid dripping hot solder on speaker cone and damaging during soldering-remove protective paper after soldering) and soldering speaker wires directly to the Goldwood Woofer soldered terminals. The conversion is easy and more than worthwhile. Update: Have spent numerous hours cruising the internet trying to find an 8 inch 8 ohm woofer capable of below 30 Hz for bass and work well up to 3K Hz regardless of price. Doubting there is a better 8 inch (can not exceed 8.25 inches edge to edge) 8 ohm woofer to be had with these specifications. If there is, would someone please let me know via a comment. Thank you.

My woofer blew in my 21 year old Yamaha yst-sw80 so I put this Goldwood GW-8PC-4 ohm in to replace it. The bass is clean, clear, and crisp. I never heard of Goldwood but thought why not take a chance. I'm so glad I did. This is a excellent woofer. I'm very impressed with the sound of this speaker and I highly recommend it.

I have had these Nuance tower speakers for twenty years. The 8†woofer was cooked in one of the towers so I did some homework and ordered two Goldwood 8†speakers. After a brief break in period, I let my Harmon Kardon amplifier make these things scream. I have been involved with sound my entire life. I have never heard such an incredible sound come out of an 8†mid bass woofer. These beefy little 8†mid bass speakers are such an incredible purchase for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend purchasing Goldwood speakers. The quality is outstanding and they do not disappoint. You will be very impressed.
