Of course the furnace decides to crap out on a cold winter Ohio night. Waking up to a 50 degree house is not fun! After watching a few Youtube videos, I figured out that the bearings on my old inducer were going bad and no amount of silicone lube would keep them turning for long. So, I broke down and bought this unit. Luckily it was Prime and arrived within 2 days, otherwise we would have frozen to death. Just like a lot of reviews state, this was a super easy fix and probably saved me a ton of money doing it myself vs. a professional. The unit came with 4 screws (2 long, 2 small), was wired, and despite what the description says, mine came with a gasket. The hardest part of the install was taking the old gasket off, and even that took like 10 minutes only because I wanted to make sure I got the surface super clean. Some reviews said the screw holes were a little off on their furnace but mine lined up just fine. I took the advice of another reviewer and started with the 2 small screws first (after putting the exhaust together). This really was a simple replacement and although I just installed it, it seems to be working great. It's very quiet - you hardly know it's running. I recommend.

exactly what I needed.I have a 10 year old or more GOODMAN home furnace. This season I switched on the furnace to make sure all is well...However all was not well. The draft inducer/that thingy that exits the exhaust up the chimney/ started making a low grinding, whiney sound.Called around the local area and found service calls were eighty bucks or more plus parts! Went online with my original draft inducer part number...that led me to a website that stated "good luck,we have your part in stock" for four hundred eighty dollars!!! took that part number, referenced it several times bouncing from website to website to amazon! the specs for this part did not match my specs exactly....my 10 year old part was 3amps, this was 2.8amps.after more research found that the rpm's must match/which they did,and the amp issue? lower power consumption!Ordered received part....which came with all the correct wires attached, which are not shown in the picture..shut the power off to the furnace, unplugged power wires, loosened the two 5/16 clamps, removed the four 1/4" screws, unplugged the vacuum line all with in 5 minutes.reinstalled in 6 minutes.tested to make sure system worked and was very surprised how quiet the new draft inducer motor was! and how quickly it was to install! and of course while I was at it I also purchased/installed new flame sensor and ignitor that was suggested to go along with this part!!all fit nicely and perfectly!now I am ready for 10 more seasons of cold weather!very happy, very please and for the price if I need another in a few years I will not hesitate to purchase again!

Summary:New inducer motor looks a little different than the original, but fit exactly, has the same electrical plugins and works perfectly fine in Goodman GCH95 model.I have a Goodman GCH95 model furnace. Woke up one day to a cold house. When the furnace should be starting and instead of the usual fan noise it just hummed. It was reporting a 3 blink code, points to pressure switches or could be inducer motor not turning (not creating the vacuum to trip the pressure switches). I manually turned the inducer motor and it started spinning but a really noisy bad bearing sound. A little WD-40 on the bearings and that let it run consistently. Called around to local HVAC guys and got quotes anywhere from $300 to $700 to fix it. The motor was $90 on Amazon, but will take 5 days to deliver. Clearly it was just the inducer motor. I removed it myself to inspect it, took about 5 minutes to pull it out. Not wanting to pay out the noise and being able to wait I ordered up one from Amazon. It took about 5 days to arrive while I was limping along with the old one. Like others mentioned the new inducer assembly looks a little different (clearly its a new replacement version) however it fit perfectly, the housing is pretty much exactly the same, all screws lined up the same, same exact motor plugins. Works perfect and saved a bunch of money. I know folks gotta work and but asking for 200-600 just to install a part that takes 10 minutes is highway robbery.

It's a bit overpriced, but exactly what I needed to get the furnace going again in the middle of the winter.

Works but bearings sound quit loud. My old blower bearings seased, but it was quieter than this unit. Install was easy, and everything seems to be working.
