At the start of the heating season, furnace would not start. Heat/AC tech found problem to be a stuck inducer motor. This motor pushes combustion air out through the chimney so only runs during heat cycle. Apparently after being idle for several months it isn't unusual for these to stick. He simply spun it free and the furnace operated ok after that but the inducer was noisy on startup with a bearing probably going bad. My furnace is a 20-year old American Standard Freedom 80, apparently the same internally as the Trane XE80 mentioned in several reviews of this product. The tech mentioned a new inducer motor would be about $600 with labor. Found this ClimaTek on Amazon with great reviews so decided to do it myself. This motor, made in Taiwan, appears to be well made and fit perfectly. The electrical connectors are correct. It did come with a new gasket which must be replaced as the old one will fall apart. One month in, furnace is quiet at start up and running fine. Very pleased with this purchase.

It worked as a replacement for FASCO A362 for the American Standard Furnace. Make sure to have the high temp glue otherwise getting this and the gasket that comes with it is not easy.

Fit my Trane XE80 perfectly. I'm happy that it came with the gasket. It's pretty easy to replace the old unit with this if you are handy. A surprised benefit is that this unit is much quieter than the original ever was. My furnace is about 20 years old, hopefully this blower will still be in it when I finally replace the furnace.

Works great with my ~40 year old furnace. Part felt really premium and did not feel cheap, came well packaged in a authentic and detailed box that screams quality. Easy to install and works great; not loud at all and very smooth to run. For around $100 during time of purchase I would highly recommend this. If it ever breaks I'll update the review here.

Fits my Trane XE80 furnace well. Gasket is provided which is great since cost $18 if purchased separately (old gasket falls apart when old part is taken off so cannot be re-used).Screw holes positions matched perfectly even though I had to drill the three small holes on rectangular exhaust to become a larger size to be able to re-use my existing screws and exhaust pipe connected to the blower--but it only took a few minutes.Don't forget to apply heat-resistant silicon or paste around exhaust outlet where it connects to the exhaust pipe too. It is pretty tight already, but better be safe

Reasonably priced, quick shipment, easy to install. We purchased the inducer motor to replace the rusted out motor on our 1996 TRANE XE80 furnace (Model TUD080C938H3). An HVAC service technician offered to replace it for $500, but suggested a new system instead for $7,300. We decided to try replacing the motor ourselves and chose this reputable seller on Amazon. Delighted! Like other reviews, we also found this motor to be exceptionally QUIET, and it did include a gasket so we returned the additional gasket we had purchased. A little of the optional glue would have helped hold it in place but even without the glue, everything lined up and made doing it ourselves a breeze. (YouTube videos are a friend!) A month in and our previous failing furnace is working like new, AND not a flinch during a concerning week of ice storms. Thank you!

High quality aftermarket replacement fan, fit perfectly and easy to install. Runs very quietly and efficiently. Can't say much else.
